    Army Wives

    drama

Army Wives tells the story of four women and one man who are brought together by their common bond – they all have military spouses. The series is based on the book Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives by Tanya Biank. Army Wives is produced by ABC Television Studio and The Mark… More Gordon Company. Pamela Moran used to be a member of the Boston police department. She is now a homemaker allowing her husband to be the breadwinner of the family. She is, as we learn, earning some money as a surrogate mother. Denise Sherwood tries to maintain the image of perfect military wife and mother, even if it means hiding the occasional bruise. Claudia Joy Holden is the one the others look to for leadership and guidance. She is fully supportive of her husband's career and hoping a secret from her past doesn't come to light. Roxy LeBlanc is newlywed to PFC Trevor LeBlanc after only knowing him four days. She is new to military life and uncertain if she will be able to fit in. Roland Burton is a psychiatrist who is the "army wife" of Joan Burton. Joan has been serving in Afghanistan for two years and now they need to reconnect as a family. When Tim goes missing, Holly reaches out to the tribe and Tim's platoon for help. Denise catches Michael in a compromising position. Latasha and Quincy receive news about his military career. Gloria continues to be pulled between Hector and Patrick. Roland and Joan prepare to say goodbye to Fort Marshall. Latasha worries about Quincy's future in the Army. Gloria agrees to go out on a date with Hector, but is torn when Patrick asks for a second chance. Denise volunteers for a relief mission to an earthquake ravaged country. Tim's behavior starts to worry Holly. Michael and Kat share a moment. The men return from Afghanistan, but not all come home unscathed. Holly is excited to reunite with Tim but he struggles to readjust to life on the home front. Quincy's injuries put his army career in jeopardy as Latasha continues to try to make ends meet. Gloria, worried Hector may have been seriously hurt, shows up to welcome him home while a disappointed Patrick looks on. Joan makes a decision about the Army War College. Everyone rejoices when the troops get orders to return to Fort Marshall. Maggie bonds with Caroline after getting her out of a tough situation. Latasha worries about the unexpected expenses that keep piling up. Hector struggles with some sad news from the home front. With Tim returning home, Gloria searches for a new apartment to give Holly and her husband some privacy. Our soldiers come under attack as they get ready to pull out of Afghanistan. The tribe gathers for Claudia Joy's dedication ceremony. Denise gets caught up in an emergency at the hospital. Michael and Kat bond at a non-work function. Patrick reluctantly breaks it off with Gloria to keep the peace within his unit. Roland gives Joan an ultimatum. Maggie discovers Caroline has been lying about her whereabouts after school.

    Ancient Aliens

    documentarymystery

Is it possible that intelligent life forms visited Earth thousands of years ago, bringing with them technology that drastically affected the course of history and man’s own development? Presented in the 1968 bestselling book Chariots of the Gods, by Erich von Daniken, the theory of “ancient aliens” rocked people’s beliefs in mankind’s progress. Ancient cave drawings of strange creatures, remains of landing strips in Peru, and Indian texts that describe the “flying machines of the gods” were just a few of the odd archaeological artifacts cited by von Daniken as proof that ancient astronauts were well known to our ancestors. Produced with the exclusive cooperation of von Daniken himself, the documentary series Ancient Aliens launches all-new expeditions to seek out and evaluate this evidence, with a concentration on discoveries of the last 30 years, including unusual DNA findings on man’s evolution and newly decoded artifacts from Egypt to Syria to South America. It is a balanced investigation into a theory some believe cannot be true, but many agree cannot be ignored. Archaeologists have discovered that many ancient sites were built with an acoustic purpose, and often resonate at a frequency that has a profound effect on the human brain. Could ancient people have been aware of a harmonic code? One that put them in contact with alien beings? In the 20th century, pioneering scientists, journalists and investigators defied convention and began documenting UFOs. Now, with incredible new UFO accounts coming to light, will their work finally culminate in undeniable proof of extraterrestrial visitation? It is humankind's most profound achievement: blasting off into the stars. But is it possible that our voyages into the cosmos are really a return to our true origins? And if so, as we venture out further into outer space, will we encounter space travelers from other worlds? Throughout the world, ancient objects have been found that leave archaeologists at a loss. Could these impossible artifacts suggest that advanced--and perhaps even extraterrestrial--civilizations existed on Earth thousands of years before our own? In this extraordinary two-hour special, Shatner will bring thought-provoking questions to the leading experts of the show. Ancient Astronaut theorists Giorgio Tsoukalos, Erich von D niken, David Childress, William Henry and Linda Moulton Howe will be joined by former British Ministry of Defense investigator Nick Pope, rocket scientist Dr. Travis Taylor, theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, and religious history experts Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok and Reverend Michael Carter. They will explore everything from human origins to groundbreaking archaeological finds, new understandings of the cosmos and the profound possibility that we are not alone in the universe.

Jenna has to choose between an important SCU event and her camp reunion, which leads to a much bigger decision: Luke or Matty. Luke helps Jenna land an important meeting at SCU. Tamara finally admits she has money problems. Jake secures shifts for Jenna and Tamara at the country club; Sully's plans for an after-hours party on the golf course lead to fireworks.
