Al and Dwight go rogue on a recon mission to follow one more lead. Virginia forces Alicia and Strand to eliminate an unusual hiker threat. Mortally wounded Morgan must decide whether to help a desperate stranger while a mysterious bounty hunter tries to finish what Ginny couldn't. Morgan is accompanied by the group when he embarks on a mission as he faces an unknown future; Al connects the pieces; June makes a promise with John. The group searches for a new home; concerned for Grace, Morgan makes a tough call.

However, when it backfires and Evan begins to spiral, Eddie gets some much-needed wisdom from Simryn’s dad. On the other side of town, Jessica and Louis convince Emery to get a job only to be shocked by what he chooses. With a little help from Louis' business advice, Jessica lands her dream job as a private school dean. Yet, after learning she was the token diversity hire, she quickly discovers a way to flip the script and use her title to make a difference. Meanwhile, Eddie and Emery teach Evan the hard way that it's okay for the brothers to have their own "things" at school.

Heading for the Mexico border pursued by Gonzalez, the Geckos encounter former minister Jacob Fuller and his family, whom they take hostage by commandeering the Fuller's RV. Drug lord Don Carlos reroutes them to a strip club populated by vampires that all must fight until dawn in order to survive. As Kate nears death, the team races to defeat Amaru and seal the gate to Xilbalba. The Geckos are going after Amaru, as she plots to regain her true form and open the gates of Hell. Santanico returns with a secret and leads the Geckos to Lord Venganza. The team falls victim to a female Xibalban demon. Richie wakes up in an abandoned asylum after being abducted; Seth goes to save Richie.

Tom arrives in Los Angeles to stay with his American cousins Al and Kitty Chadwick as he tries to discover more about his great-great-grandfather. Tom discovers he has family in both Derbyshire and California, and plans to make a visit and learn more about the Derbyshire branch of the family tree.

Meanwhile, Mason becomes CPR certified and wants nothing more than to save a life. When Jack is bullied by "the bug guys," Tony offers Jack advice on how to handle them, even though Jack is determined to handle them on his own. Meanwhile Aunt Terry is out to win the local art show. The tables are turned when Terry comes down with the flu and Tony must take care of her for a change. Meanwhile, when Jack learns that Stitch's new boyfriend is jealous of Stitch's feelings for him, Jack must decide if he should finally take the next step. When Jack and Darren get locked in a room at a client's house, their bickering reveals the underlying reasons for their continuous conflict. At home, Jack and Darren's unexplained absence has a ripple effect on Terry, Tony, Mason and Stitch as they prepare for the annual Mapleport Classic Car Parade. Terry thinks Mason needs a strong male role model and, lacking a better option, enlists Jack to step in. Meanwhile Tony, Darren and Stitch buy Ellis a new wheelchair and trick it out, which seems like a good idea at the time, until Ellis takes off.
